"It's ... ooof... a lot" - this Beta reader def backs this up! Apart from the things we have learned about Mike, apart from the unveiling of even better writing than we expected (having already thought his writing was extraordinary!), many of us have surfaced things about ourselves and our own experiences during the sharing of this incredible project that Mike has embarked upon. One of the best "subscribe instead of take-away-coffee" decisions you can make ...

Ditto what CH and SteveTheCat said. I have two books sitting on my bedroom floor (a fiction and a nonfiction) that are both well known authors and known to be good reads. They have sat there unopened since I started reading Mike.

His stories have made me smile, helped me see some things from a new perspective, kept me awake, caused some tears and held breaths. I am so engaged.

When his book is a best seller we will say TOLD YOU SO!!

It *has* been "a lot", as you said, but it is so richly and beautifully written I encourage more people to become paid subscribers so they can join us there. And I, for one, am grateful for the break and getting to read something lighter. Thank you

P.S. I was writing my comment so I didn't see "SteveTheCat"'s comment until after I posted mine. It's not like we got some memo to say the same thing about subscribing - it's just that good.

CH! Exactly it is that good. I guess we should say all of the individual stories are that amazing and plentiful, but I feel like I'm reading a book. Each a new chapter of a novel that will become a best seller.

Also, like Karen said it gives you new perspectives. I feel different about many things in my life. I can see them through a different lense. It was very needed.

Yes, you're right it (the series) feels like a book and I could totally see it becoming a book someday.

I had to come back to the comments about your writings being a book someday to say, Wow! this book just got a new amazing chapter(s)!

Would love to get to see you in person at a book signing someday. Bonus if VB is there as the supporting girlfriend for the book launch :)

If you enjoy Mike's writing please become a paid subscriber. I have never read anything so raw, painful and beautiful it is artwork. This is the life story of our friend. Someday he will win a Pulitzer. I always said he should write a book. I thought he wrote well. This is better than my wildest dreams.

Do not deny yourself any longer...

One of the stories left me sitting with my mouth agape. I sat like that for close to an hour. I had no idea what I had done the beginning of the day. The only thing that mattered is what I just read and how it made me feel.

Another story left me breathless. It was that all encompassing. Can you imagine reading something so beautifully written you had to remind yourself to breathe?

I promise you will thank me for encouraging you to become a paid subscriber.

I’d love to stay and chat, but I got up at 4 am, it’s only Monday, and I must sleep now that I’ve finished the Intermission. It’s a good journey, and “miles to go.... “
